She relishes the opportunity to advise people on how to transform their lives, and her television projects are based on a solid business foundation. Melissa is a broadcaster and businesswoman. Never one to turn down a challenge, she has successfully branched out into property and travel writing, modeling, voice over work and hosting live events and awards ceremonies.

Melissa owns a property renovation company, Porter & Smurfit, with Charlie Smurfit and the diligent duo provide a complete bespoke design and renovation service to discerning clients.

When Melissa’s not working she likes to indulge in her two other passions, travel and sports. In the past two years she’s been lucky enough to require two passports to house all her ‘countries visited’ stamps! She enjoys tennis, motoring, sailing, water and snow skiing, quite simply keeping herself busy and having fun!
