Melissa Porter and Nick Barratt look at properties which have been as much a part of the plot as the actors and the scripts. These are the dream lives of the real people who live in some of the on screen fiction's most famous houses - backed with clips of how these locations were seen on screen.
I Own Britain's Best Home

Three presenters, a property consultant - Melissa Porter, an architect - Charlie Luxton and a property developer Russell Harris will be out and about around Britain, hunting down exceptional properties. They will then spend 24 hours in the homes they have each found, getting to grips with and extolling all the great features that make the houses so special. They will get to know the owners and their families, and really find out what has driven them to design and build their houses and , of course, what it feels like to live in some of Britain's most beautiful homes.
In each programme three homes will be featured and at the end of each show the public will get a chance to vote for the home that they think is the best. The winners from the heats will go through to the final where one property will be awarded 'best home' and the owners will be awarded £25,000.
